Brunswick Fitness Center – An Amenity For Residents of Brunswick Forest

1. Cleanliness

A fitness center can be a daunting place for people who are new to exercise. But with a little bit of common sense, you can keep your workout on track without making the equipment you use dirty.

The Brunswick Forest community gym is well-maintained by the staff, and it’s easy to see that they take pride in the facilities. They also offer wellness programs, evaluations and screenings, which make it even easier to keep up with your health goals.

2. Friendly Staff in Brunswick Fitness Center

This is a great gym that has a really positive vibe. It’s always clean, even during the busiest times and the staff is helpful. There are a variety of classes (cycling, yoga, pop pilates, barre, rooftop yoga in summer/early fall) and they have plenty of equipment. Plus, they’re a non-profit and have a ton of perks for members!

The Brunswick Fitness Center is located in the Dinah E. Gore building on the campus of Brunswick Forest and serves residents as well as students, employees and guests. It provides a full range of wellness programs, evaluations and screenings through Brunswick Forest’s partnership with New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

This 18,000-square-foot facility features an indoor and outdoor pool, fitness studio, cardiovascular equipment room. Men’s and women’s locker rooms with showers and sauna, and massage room. It also offers a variety of wellness and fitness classes, as well as health and wellness seminars. In addition to the fitness center, Brunswick Forest has walking trails that connect with the Fitness & Wellness Center and other community amenities. This helps members get active and stay healthy right in their own backyard.

3. Variety of Classes

Brunswick Fitness Center is a community-based health club that offers tons of classes — cycling, yoga, QFIT, barre, tai chi, rooftop yoga (in the summer), and more. The instructors are friendly, and the facility has a nice vibe that makes you feel welcome. The staff also know everyone by name and greet and say goodbye to their members in a genuine way.

The Brunswick Center is a 50,000-square-foot fitness/wellness/education complex that includes an expansive space for Formlab group. Fitness training and personal coaching, and a state-of-the-art gym with top-tier cardio and free weight equipment. This is a place where you’ll get more out of your workouts and reach your goals with the support of a welcoming community and expert knowledge.

Moreover, Independence Association clients and employees will have access to an onsite fitness center. Thanks to funds raised in this year’s Androscoggin Bank Run for Independence. The facility will include treadmills, ellipticals, and a stationary bike and machines for body strength. The amenities are linked to Brunswick Forest neighborhoods, and access is part of your monthly homeowners’ association dues.

The 18,000-square-foot Fitness & Wellness Center also offers other amenities for the entire family. Outside, residents have access to the outdoor pool Reflections which features a large deck with ample space to relax or take in the view. It also has a zero-entry feature so everyone can get in and out with ease.

In addition, the facility has a dance studio, personal training room, yoga room and men’s and women’s locker rooms complete with showers and steam room. There’s even a massage room available for residents who want to take a break from their workout.
